Well, what do you think? For me, I can tell you that I like it! It seems, dark, serious, and no joke! So months ago I saw the preview to the Fox Television series The Exorcist, which was taken from the original 1973 classic. I thought this was going to bomb. I was wrong. Not only has this series held my attention since the first episode, an exciting new twist has arisen in episode 5 which aired this past Friday. I was absolutely shocked. The mother of the possessed girl that Father Tomas and Father Marcus is trying to help has turned out to be non other than Regan McNeil, the girl Linda Blair played in the original film. She had changed her name and built a new life for herself to escape her past. She even disappeared from her mother as well because she was constantly being haunted by the memories of that terrible episode which had made audiences gasp, shake and run to the confessionals back in 1973.
